You do not need prior experience to begin. At one point, every student in the room knew as much about Jiu Jitsu as you do right now. The difference is that they took the first step on the mat and kept coming back.

Jiu Jitsu is challenging. That is part of the point. But learning it does not have to look like fight club. Training should be demanding, useful, and engaging. It should help you strengthen your mind-body connection, build real skill, and learn how to stay composed under pressure.

Find the class that fits you

We work with adults at different levels of experience. Some students are stepping onto the mat for the first time. Some are returning after time away. Some are experienced athletes. Some are competitors. The goal is not to throw everyone into the same room and see who survives. The goal is to help you find the right starting point and build from there.

If you are brand new, start with an Intro class or a beginner-friendly Fundamentals class. If you have an athletic or competitive background, we can help you decide whether Fundamentals or All-Levels is the better fit. If you already have Jiu Jitsu experience, contact us and we will help you find the right class.

Schedule

Our Schedule offers you a structured approach to acquiring skill. Not sure where to start? Let us help you find a class level that suits you best. A few classes a week goes a long way to adding balance, (and skills), to your life.

Jiu Jitsu is challenging! That is a seldom advertised fact. Yes, it is an amazingly effective martial art! Yes, it can give a smaller person the means to control a bigger and stronger adversary. Yes, it is often described as having a super power. All that said, Jiu Jitsu is hard!

The difficulty in fact is what draws many people to the training - They want to experience a significant challenge and find the strength and ability to overcome it. Other students aren’t looking for the difficulty, they want to find the leverage and ability to overcome adversity through clever technique. Both can be found on the mat. Get offline and get on the mat. Your mind solves problems all day - give your other muscles a chance to greet adversity and solve problems. TRY A CLASS and see what Jiu Jitsu can offer you!
